I am a theatrical designer currently based in Pella, Iowa. My bachelors of science is from South Dakota State University, Brookings in theatre. My Master of Fine Arts degree is from Minnesota State University, Mankato in scenic design with an emphasis on scenic design with secondary emphases in lighting and costume design. Over the past ten years I have been the design faculty at Central College, a small liberal arts college offering a BA in Musical Theatre. I taught courses in all design areas and stage and theatrical management. I advised student designers and managers and designed shows in all areas. I am an accomplished scenic painter, stitcher, carpenter and props artisan.
